2nd Annual Okere Enduro Teams Kayak Race


Kaituna River, Okere Falls, Bay of Plenty.

• 6hr Endurance kayak event.
• Mixed teams of three (minimum of 1 female on each team)
• paddle down the river - run back up to the top & tag your team mate (boats transported for you)
• team that completes the most laps in 6hrs wins
• entry: $75 per team of three ($25pp)
• Prizes for winners

Rules and other Relevant info:


# Team members do not have to do an equal amount of laps, if you have got someone that likes to hurt or is more confident then it is ok for them to do more laps than other team members.


# Age restrictions: You have to be 15 years or older to compete, also if you are under 18 you're going to need you parent's permission and signature to partake in this fun day out.

# Standard production length creek boats only. If you are unsure if your boat fits that criteria please get in touch. No Tandems sorry.

# We are capping the number of entries this year to 25 teams, so get in quick to secure your teams' spot.

# No Solo category this year. This is a teams race.

Okere Enduro 2013

Welcome to the new Okere Enduro blog, this is where you will find all of the information for the upcoming 2013 Okere Enduro. The date for this year's event is Saturday the 14th of December.

As with last years event we will be looking for volunteers to help in the running of the event. If you can help with safety on the river or marshaling then let us know.
